Makes a complete mockery of investing when bots , algos and high frequency trading can override fundamentals as they are doing .
One of the first measures to combat it is to scrap politicians and public servants defined benefit pensions so that their pensions are exposed to the vaguaries of the market like everyone else's . Until they have skin in the game nothing much (good) will happen .
