The 22 million shorts were those reported on 27 Aug, since then 4 million have been reported on ASX and no doubt more today. This does not mean more shorts being added, in fact, they appear to be tapering off if anything. When shorts start closing positions, or even better get squeezed, is when you will start seeing the SP rise.
I'm not saying that is today, but, I have just taken a position today because the case for far outweighs the case against the current SP going up in my humblest of opinions.
