The SP is about future expectations , and in the end these vary greatly. ST an insto or 2 selling can impact SP in a big way . That is not aligned to value . Did DLS value change from 10am to 4 m by 30m ? Of course not. The best we can do this input our assumptions and arrive at a value and back ourselves we are correct. The only reason why I will buy at mid to high 5os and not now is to give myself a greater margin of error.
The other interesting point worth noting is if you listen or read transcript of conference call there seems to be a big disconnect about the reserves BPT and DlS are putting on the wet gas assets with BPT being more conservative , so this may aka have resulted in some recent selling
