Secondly the spot price is just a reflection of the supply taken out by Cameco and the Kazakhs, not a true demand supply pull. At the current price I believe PDN is not making money and Cameco is barely.
Thirdly, how are you going to look at a LT supply contract to find contango?
I’ve also said that there are plenty of competing energy source and renewables once an exotic source is just following Moore’s laws with the cost coming down massively. Solar panels are now just waiting for the economical battery source to find a good reason for the 2.5 mil households in Oz.
I’m not going to jam my investments in miners let alone wanna be specs that aren’t making money digging up the yellowcake where supply was artificially withdrawn. If the U prices make a comeback the existing lost supply will just enter the market and rush to sign more LT supply contracts without any new Power plants coming online. Black swans every year in East Asia as the ground trembles. No thanks, one Fukushima is enough for me even though I did make very good coin which should have been so much better.
If it is a trade then my reasons will not be valid. Good luck.

I’m sure we’ve has this discussion before. I can’t find a compelling argument in your post as to why I would even reduce my positions in my U portfolio. I mean I could sell half of the portfolio and do x with the money, but selling now imo would be too early. I always have a short time frame on these investments so I’m going to hold until at least end of Christmas.
