The AWB at worst could very well lose the single desk out of this! Farmers are now asking how if a company is not keeping track of costs (ie absurd anomalies in freight rates from Alia - Jordanian trucking company), how can they be delivering the best returns to Australia's wheat growers (as opposed to shareholders), who by Australian law are forced to sell their export wheat to the AWB!
The spin machine has flown the 'not able to comment further at this stage'. More than likely too busy keeping Australia's not so informed and stupidly but admirably allegiant wheatgrowers misinformed. The grains industry is over regulated in this country and to the detriment of food producers. Bring on expensive oil and grind the inefficiencies and over regulation out of the system. DT you think the gold market is rigged, you outta try grain!!!!
