Well, lets count how much Seven Group has. $200m in Beach. Ok, sell that one Ryan. Surely, Ryan can find a bank that would help fund the acquisition using Seven Group's balance sheet. Also, Drillsearh holds $146m in cash.
On top of that, Seven could offer a mixture of shares and cash.
At $1.50 offer price, that would value Drillsearch at $700m. The funding gap is not out of reach for Seven Group. Also, Seven can do a capital raising to fund part of the takeover.
