That is fascinating. Have there been new guidelines put in place somewhere about stock borrowing being declared since Opes Prime?
I noticed the other day on another share I hold (KLM) that there was an unusual ssh by Fortis which said they'd acquired the shares under normal borrowing arrangements... it was a big chunk of stock to be shorting on an illiquid share, so I was very uncertain as to what it meant and whether the shares had already been shorted or were about to be.
Having to tell the world that they've borrowed and sold a significant chunk of stock would rather undercut any ideas of making a profit, as once it is disclosed and everyone knows they are going to need to buy them back!
Anyway, good to see IBA finally performing in line with my belief in them!
