Mineral rights belong to the Crown yet farmers and others want the royalties due the Crown
Santos already pays very substantial amounts to landholders with a wellhead on their place
Farmers often make more from their wellhead crop than normal business activity.

Royalties should go to the Crown for the benefit of the general public
Irrational Development bans should be overturned for the benefit of the general public
The general public should benefit not special interests

I'm not fussed much about the crazy blanket bans in socialist paradises like Victoria
Rationality will win out as the supply side deficiency bites

have heard from a reliable source connected to pipe contracting for Santos aprox 5-6k per well pa .... Narrabi farmers playing hard ball on back of enviro scare 8-9k a well and they will lie down ... only green streak is how many green backs its gonna take
