A dividend is needed to restore any sense of credibility with the board. We were promised a percentage of profit distribution when the company returned to profitability. There was no if or buts in promise. They reneged without due explanation in the last report. I for one am tired of paying to turn the company around. What have this motly lot delivered? Debt reduction? B S...we have had massive rights issues which means we have paid . Profitability? B S... This MD came on board just as the plants were being commissioned. What has he delivered except for massive write downs? Any body here who doesn't want a dividend, I will send you my bank account. You can give it to me.
Give me dividends any day over pie in the sky capital gains. Anybody who has not learned that lesson in the last couple of weeks deserves to lose money.
