When you consider the many more billions wasted on desalination projects on the east coast it looks cheap
Still commentators raving about the lack of tax paid by the east coast LNG exporters
They pay royalties to the QLD state govt don't they?
Probably the talk more focused on the PRRT which only applies when the producers have written off their expenses.
This is a federal tax
Seems reasonable that the companies that have invested billions in gorgon and the others should only pay tax on profits like everyone else.
