Look what happened to the share price the day the AFR article was published. There was and is a clear takeover premium in the current price.
I’m not fazed about my STO position, or wedded to the fatal concept of not having made a loss till I’ve sold (a paper loss is a reduction in available capital). My other oil play WOR is up over 300% in the same time. Considering exiting both and redeploying the funds to better risk/reward stocks.
