They did mention....

“Significant progress made towards finalising terms and conditions”

...with regards to the deal whilst also saying it should be done last quarter. This signifies to me that they are doing the back and forth on a deal and while they thought! it would be done in time by years end it is still doing the legal back and forth between all parties concerned.

That’s not to say that they couldn’t afford a few lines in an announcement referring to their guidance miss and that things are progressing, shareholders deserve that at least. Though ASX wide its a rather common thing where a CEO or Board get excited and start talking about the up and coming without regard as to the complexities involved and the potential to miss a guidance that to them seemed plausible at the time!

I’ve no doubt it’s coming, it would just be nice for them to communicate it.
