Yes quite funny for this person to try and have a go at a phase 1 trial that was a single centre, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single ascending dose study! A phase 1 study is mainly to screen for safety in a small group of people, phase 2 (yet to come with licensing partner) will then start to look at the efficacy of the drug more so against placebo, this is common knowledge, well I thought scientists mates would know this.
