We should be getting some feedback from the company at the end of the month. A small dividend? I think that would not do their imagine any good, if the closure of the Bonds Unanderra factory closes mid - March. imho I would have thought that the majority of the restructuring would have been completed by now and the EPS should have started to improve. Strong AUD should have helped margins and retail sales were probably no worse than last year. P/E is still below average for the market sector. P/B is still below 1, which considering the strong brands that the company holds is extremely low. A couple of analysts are saying that the shares are a strong buy.
We have heard nothing from the company since the AGM, which after reading the chairman's comments, told us nothing of the forecast for this year. It will be interesting what gets announced in a couple of weeks. TFP
