TechnologyOne software is the same software they have had for many years. It just has a new front end and some changes that make it much more user friendly. If you need proof read Adrian Di Marcos comments about the rewrite of CI Anywhere to "C4" He calls it "post cloud" but it is essentially rewriting all the software so all the components are built especially for the cloud. They would not be doing this if CI Anywhere was fully cloud enabled. It is hosted by AWS, and that model is strong.

I think their model is brilliant, but they are yet to execute as well as they will. The "C4" product that they have announced will be the change that will allow them to fully realise the benefits of the vision. The problem is that could be a number of years away. The conversion to CI Anywhere took many years to do and won't be fully completed until at least the end of next year. They are no different to NetSuite except that NetSuite was written specifically for the cloud and has many advantages with performance, usability, and integration. That said TechnologyOne go after a more complex marketplace which requires more functionality.
