With 44k shares traded in the overnight session, I don't think one can conclude there was big selling (in value or volume).
As poor as the offer is, at some point the trade looks attractive due to the embedded put the offer places under the price. I've been wrong many times before, but I believe any selling at the 25c level would be met by considerable rational buying.
Given what is going on in the listed gold space, cash could work out quite well. CHN could use the cash to load up on MML and KCN. Another 25% down on these names and the div yield alone could fund the remaining CHN exploration program.
