My interest is as a very long term holder with a relatively large (for me) investment which obviously is not going so well at the current time. It is, of course, in my best interests to be positive about this company in the face of the continual negativity from other posters. I've had my own complaints about ALT (especially recently regarding the latest capital raising price) but I don't see the point in continually running down a company that you are financially invested in. It seems counter-intuitive to me.

I appear to be the only female here, and I have for some time felt that I have a greater responsibility on this forum, because I (perhaps mistakenly) believe that I have a better understanding of the use of the product and the huge potential market than most males - I have one, my mother in law has one, a couple of acquaintances of mine have one. I also believe that I have a better understanding of the women in the target market than most of the males on this forum, because I am one and I hang out with them and I talk to them all day long. For these reasons, I do actually feel like I am responsible for standing up for the this company when they are criticised especially when the criticisms are ill-researched or plain wrong from a female perspective.

That is why when male shareholders continually post about improving the product by making it vibrate, I tend to get very defensive. My honest opinion, as a female who is in the target market, is that there is no way on earth that a mature woman who is trying to treat incontinence is even remotely concerned about having an option to make it vibrate. Its just not a concern. Its distasteful and lowers the credibility of the product from a legitimate medical device to a sex toy.

The post I wrote last night was completely out of line which is why I asked for it to be deleted, and I apologise to Gallea for its content. I obviously have lost my ability to respond in an objective and responsible way about this company and I need to take a step back, which is why this will be my last post regarding ALT.
