I think we need to take a step back and think about who was attending the conference. This was a conference full of government officials and delegates of NGO and other NFP organisations.

There is no way that Steve was going over there to sign distribution or funding agreements with these various entities.

It was an opportune occasion to promote Artimist to this group of people and plant the seed about how they can help in the future.

The real benefit of Steve attending the conference will only be seen after the trial results come out and we proceed to the next phase. That’s where the seeds that were planted last week at the conference will be allowed to grow.
The representatives that attended cannot help with the trial. That is done. Where they can help is by prioritising the regulatory and marketing approvals and assist with product distribution.

There is no way that any company would be willing to publicly announce the details of the conversations Steve would have had last week. Deals rarely get signed with a first meetings taking place at conferences. It was the first step, and IMO these representatives will be watching the trial results closely and only after a successful Phase III trial can they seriously enter into negotiations with EMS.

Steps forward are being taken. Just because they haven’t been announced doesn’t mean they are not occurring.

Rest assured that the PR machine will be in overdrive once the successful trial results are released.
