They may also be of interest for the Weld Range project. Even though its a relatively small resource its right next door to MIS/Sinosteel and its lower in phosphorus than their resource so would be of interest as a blending stock.
I also think that BHP and RIO must be starting to feel under pressure a bit - face lossing their duopoly very shortly. They may be keen to snap up as much dirt as they can if for no other reason than to keep the Chinese away.
