The northern two properties that you marked, Llynora Downs (Cotton) and Rewan (Cattle) are on the Comet river, which confluences with the Nogoa river and feeds the Fairbarn dam at Emerald, they are not part of the MDB. The most northern part of the MDB is on the Darling Downs, the two aforementioned properties are located in Central Queensland.

For the southern properties, leaving poultry out of the equation, RFF has Vineyards and almond properties, with a bit of cotton country still left as well that has not been converted to Almonds yet. This part of the MDB is not very hard hit with cut-backs in the current plan; its more other areas in the MDB that have to hand in water. The Almond properties are also in an area where permanent plantings (anything that has been growing longer than 2 years) receive a more secure water allocation than annual plantings (your water licenses automatically get converted to a higher security level when you plant permanent crops like almonds).

If there are any cuts to water allocations, voluntary buybacks is the method used by the government; similar to how the government in the Ballonne shire already bought back 80% of their project MDB cutbacks from Eastern Australian Ag at the end of last year. The biggest effect this could have on other producers in the area, like RFF for example, would be a rising cost per ML for water licenses. However, as the southern area where RFF operates has a large amount of temporary licenses available every year due to the often large inflows in the dams, this effect is projected to be relatively small.
