I feel the elephant in the room for RFF is the current political uncertainty around the Murray Darling Basin Water plan. RFF has many lessees that will be impacted by this situation and at the very least will be impacting their longer term water infrastructure development plans for their farms. Yes those loans aren't the main earner but as a landlord you want a stable business environment for your Lessee's to operate on.
I am currently watching RFF with interest as the retrace has made it an attractive dividend play.
