does anyone have a view on this?
- what would stop PRT merging with another regional TV broadcaster? ie PRT beams 7 material over certain areas. Whats to stop PRT buying say "xyz" company or business, which might broadcast another channel eg say a Nine channel? yes, maybe competing in a similar geographical location? maybe synergies in Sales and news? also synergies in corporate, admin, mgt.
- what is to stop Prime beaming its shows into different areas? is Prime restricted by 7 licensing deals maybe? or other regional areas? ie expanding its existing footprint somehow?
- can PRT acquire a licence for a second channel? eg like Seven has with 7GO ?
