The Senate has just voted to extend the order of business so that the Media Bill can be debated and voted on by 11pm tonight.

The numbers look to be on the Governments side but as they say 'it's not over until the fat lady sings'. Still a chance that the bill will get voted down but I don't think that the Communications Minister would have put the Bill to the Senate if he wasn't confident of getting the votes required.
