Joca,
I am naturally impatient and hence I just want to get out of CLV. However, like a lot of holders my position is enormous so I cant get out of it easily. Additionally, when I sit down and actually think about why I would sell, I can only come up with one reason: SP.
If I were you Joca I would continue to hold. I say this because there is no good reason to sell. In fact, based on the latest developments you should buy more - there isnt a company on the ASX that has the prospects which also match the risk profile like CLV. I have put this challenge up a number times for HC posters to give me a stock that equals or betters CLV's profile. Whilst this is just my opinion I dont believe there is one.
CLV has a sound business. Its making money, on solid results. This is the extent of the downside. The upside however is huge. The market for DHA-based products globally hold massive potential. If CLV can manage to secure some of these sales it will be a dollars-stock. One contract alone to Mead in Asia is worth circa 3-4mill if you use micro eq numbers. The point I am trying to make is that if CLV can actually prove-up sales penetration, you are on a winner just like a mining company if success stikes. Its all about getting the sales, as the market exists and is still growing.
I am not going to keep rambling on, but if you look closely at CLV you cant justifiably say that you should sell. Even if you look away from financials - like current shareholders and management they are of very high quality. This alone would prompt people to purchase. The reason I am fed up with the stock is because the stock price goes nowhere despite advances. I am missing out on other opportunities because of this holding.
