Don't know about comparative tax treatments of van is UK and Australia but I purchased a motorhome in the UK about 12 months ago for about 40% of the equivalent van in Australia. And don't let anyone tell you is the equivalent or better specced than anything on the Australian market
and built on the same Fiat chassis. No it's not an off roader ( and does not claim to be ) but more than capable of handling English B roads which make the average Aussie road look like a super highway
The bottom line is that there is still plenty of fat in the local caravan market where FWD got it's start. Not an expert but British caravan prices also appear to be about 40% of the Aussie equivalent
There is a future for FWD but will they recognize it when they see it ?
