I have posted many times defending SMM and while the new JORC estimates were a bit disappointing, the deposits are still open, and the drilling will be going on for many years to come.
IMHO, the main problem as always is with the Government.
I have cut back my holdings on SMM while I still have a parcel, however there is just to many other good uranium stocks to pick from that are not in Qld or W.A. in this once-in-a-life-time Uranium bull market.
Who needs all this bother with the labor party playing games with investors money as always?
Last night I sold my Canadian LAM stock, and with the many uranium stocks I hold here and in Canada, only 3 have anything to do with Qld and W.A.
UNX has Thatcher Soak, however their main focus will be Tanzania were they have great ground that was explored in the 1970's
UEQ has a fight to win Mulga Rock, but have a very experienced mangement team and 2 JVs with a 23 Million dollar drill program this year.
One of their JVs is with Cameco in the NT.
I have many many more uranium stocks and i am not trying to get anyone to buy the ones I have mentioned, to me thre are just to many other very good uranium stocks out there not having to carry the baggage of QLD and W.A.
Though really after living in Perth, I didn't believe for one second that they would let uranium mining in the state.
However with QLD, I have had enough.
At least I still own SMM, if they ever change their minds again.
