I managed to get in touch with the management last week, and brought up a few topics relevant to the company.

There were a couple of things I was hoping to bring up but wasn't able to fit them in, as I didn't want to hold them down for too long. However, I have listed below the comments that were made about the various subjects discussed. Be aware that I am going off memory here, and while I'll try and relate things as accurately as I can remember, it isn't impossible I might have misunderstood the odd detail.

New project acquisitions: I enquired as to what type of new projects the company had been looking at. They said they had ruled out oil and gas and coal assets, but mention was made of an iron ore and a zinc project that they had investigated. So far they have looked at projects in Madagascar, Chile and in the Solomon Islands.

I asked if the company would consider copper and tin projects as well, and they told me yes, they were also interested in this type of project.

Solar power plant: I asked if instead of acquiring a new mining project, the company might consider building a solar plant instead, to serve as a power source for an eventual mine and in the meantime, to feed the power generated back to the grid in South Australia and thus covering some of the costs of the company.

They thought it was an interesting idea however they said were in the business of mineral exploration, not power generation.

Maslins Project: I raised the 'Olympic Dam' question, and they said that Maslins looked like it had the signature of the Olympic Dam deposit, albeit on a smaller scale. They also suggested there should be news relating to Maslins in the next few months.

Cartarpo Project: They said that the company didn't want to give away the cobalt project, and mentioned that the company had received a low-ball offer for the project, but it was knocked back.

Silver Price: According to the company, a silver price of above $20 per ounce (I assume they were referring to the US dollar silver price) was needed to get the silver project up and running.

Silvermines: I asked if the management had much familiarity with other comparable listed Australian silver focused companies such as Argent Minerals and Silvermines. They said they were well acquainted with many of these companies, but of these the only one that they thought had a silver project that could be compared to that of Investigator was Silvermines.

I thought that the last comment was interesting, considering the relative market caps of the two companies.
