Since we know that OVL has:
- 677K in the bank;
- Expected cash outflows of -500K for the quarter (Yes, actual may be less but one cannot assume NewCrest is covering all those 'exploration and evaluation' costs) ; and
- We also know that OVL is still yet to receive $590,000 by september via options.
This still poses a short term cash problem for OVL. I believe there will be a raise in the short term and this along with the options money in september will together be a significant raise for OVL and prevent them from needing another dilutionary cap raise during the next, most crucial stage of OVL's life.
When does everyone think the cap raise will come??
- Before announcement of drilling?
- After the commencement of drilling?
- Just before Initial Drilling Results?
- After Initial Drilling Results?
Remembering OVL will become cash dry towards March-April...Around the time of results?
If OVL can choose a wise time to raise, it will secure a potentially great SP future for this company...
It will still need to support itself over the next big stage of drilling and further exploration over the next year or two however NewCrest will take a significant portion of those costs according to the farm-in agreement. Hopefully this raise will be sufficient to last through till (hopefully) New Crest buys them out
