I smell a hint of Pine in the air.....been smelling it for the last 2 weeks....along with the smell of real fear.....

Blackwood was a marvelously terrific and terrifying experience once again....and now SLA has similarities once again.....

Running even small rapids is fraught with danger.....in a 2 man canoe you have to be on your game.....Just like SLA canoe flipped and my front oarsman was trapped by his pack and his legs wouldn't dislodge......I was swept away and looking for his head( and my beer!...lol).....Thorpie couldn't have swum faster.....stuff the beer......my new friend needed air......

3 days of charging on, the Blackwood took us on,

SHORT SELLING CFDs on ANZ's E-trade


Dear Mr Awesome trader

As you may be aware, ASIC has partially lifted its ban on short selling, by allowing covered short sales of non-financial securities from 19 November, and has imposed disclosure requirements in relation to sales of certain financial products.

Short Selling available soon.
Since ASIC’s original ban on short selling came into effect on 22 September 2008, short selling of CFDs with MF Global Australia (MFGA) through E*TRADE has not been available. We are currently working with MFGA to provide an online solution to enable E*TRADE’s CFD customers to short sell CFDs with MFGA, and to make the new disclosures ASIC requires MFGA to obtain. We expect to offer this service to CFD customers from the end of November 2008.

You will be contacted again in the near future, to confirm how the Short Selling service and disclosure will work.
