That is an interesting find. I note ...

For industrial use our company offers the following products made with our patented technology:

1. DBBE (dry birch bark extract) with 85% betulin content;

2. PBS (pharmaceutical betulin substance), purity 98%;

3. BSS (betuline standard sample), with 99.2% purity for chromatograph calibration;



For cosmetic purposes we supply dried birch bark extract containing 70-80% of betulin.



Packing: 1kg of powdered betulin is packed into double plastic bag, there are 20 bags in one drum*;

Minimum order: 1 drum;

Price: 330 Euro per 1 kg of birch bark extract containing 80% of betulin.

Delivery: CIP (by Lufthansa Cargo Service);



The price for Betulin with purity 85-95% is 560 Euro per 1kg, for 98-99,5% - 950 Euro per kg.

.......I do not see that it is made in commercial quantities or for a pharmaceutical such as ROPREN, but will look further into it. The polyprenols we apparanently use for Ropren are extracted at 99% purity I think from memory.

These products are more in the complementary medicine area where Ropren is a pharmaceutical with trials having been conducted. Still an interesting lesser valued comparitor in suggestion but not in trials persee or in product form.

At a stretch may be like Bio A Conifer green needle extract. but no where near ROPREN!
