You might be right. However, it would be good for them to provide the shares as that would move them someway towards alleviating us from the value that we have forfeited over the years.

And I am not sure that they are entitled to treat SH with less than 1,112 shares any differently than any other applicant. Would be a farce if the only holders that did apply were those with less than 1,112 shares.

Highly unlikely I know but it makes a point.
