spp - huge discount to market price

MLT has today announced that the price for shares to be offered in the upcoming SPP is set at $16.08. This represents a 9.5% discount to today's closing market price of $17.78.

Selling 932 shares on market at $17.78, and buying them back through the SPP at $16.08 would yield an immediate cash return of $1584.40 (less brokerage on the sale and any capital gains tax).

Let's hope we get a similar discount with Choiseul's SPP. As a long-term LIC investor, this whole "get rich quick" thing is something I could get used to...
