Not far from the truth I suppose.
Mitchad, to be perfectly honest I totally agree with your statement, "AS usual it's Lawyers who make the money when scraps are left." but we have to ask ourselves why and who placed the company on this sinking ship ? Not the Lawyers, certainly not the share holders or the IG. Remember the IG was initially formed to assist SG and the company in various ways including finance, experience, fresh ideas and contacts etc. Steve Graves was at the wheel when this started taking on water and unsurprisingly he won't be there when the ship goes down.
At the very least, I feel we deserve answers. While I have finally decided to take part in this action and spend a pittance in the process, I feel I need to know what happened and the only way we will find out is through this Barrister. The board will never voluntarily release information or the books to be scrutinised when it's all done and dusted. Will I be able to recoup my losses ? from what I have been told I have a good chance but to be perfectly honest, I have no idea. A bit like Lotto I suppose ? If you don't buy a ticket, you have no chance and, the money I'm spending compared to what I have lost is just like buying a Lotto ticket in comparison.
Do we just let this slide into the sunset ? or do we run a fine tooth comb over the actions of the person/s who told the market many positive one liners ( no need to repeat them ) . We can all now compare the results, production and income against the one liners and promises and what they said would happen. $90+ million raised since 2003 and all we can see above the waterline is the ships radar spinning around looking for further suckers like myself to start bailing.
Right or wrong some will not take part in this action. I am told ( don't know the number ) there are many who are but at the end of the day we all have to run with what we think is best.
There is no law against asking questions regarding your investment as far as I know ? That's just the way I see this action, asking some questions and depending on the answers, we will know what comes next.
