Yeah I saw that this morning.
That said, from what I've read about Duterte his focus doesn't seem to be to "stop mining", as much as it is to "improve the environmental standards of mining".
That said, at this point some certainty over Philippines mining regulations would be welcomed rather than the current limbo we are in.
