I still read some of what he writes, it can be helpful in some aspects, but generally with the stocks he already holds (theoretically) he just re-hashes announcements.

He does still hold A1, whether that changes in the new year as he gets to just start a new portfolio, is another questions. Chances are he will just ditch it and those who followed his recommendation of it through Eureka will just be left hanging.

While he does have a good track record, he has performed pretty poorly this year. Wouldn't say he needs to retire, everyone has bad periods, but if he does just swap out of A1's in the new year you makes his accountability pretty poor.

Anyway, thats another kettle of fish. As I said, his insight into TRF today wasn't anything special. Was probably more appealing to read the ASX announcement rather then his little update in Eureka.
