This is just pure speculation Bob but I have a suspicion that Sirius shareholders may get a little sweetener closer to 3rd September when they vote. Not a lot has been said about the S2 Resources demerger apart from it being a bit of an explorer with $20m in the bank to get it started.
I am sure you recall when Polar Bear was first discovered it was a bit of a big deal sending shares up 14% after the announcement, but with all the focus on Nova and nickel not much news has been filtering through on exploration updates over at Polar apart from Baloo which was announced Jan 19 and saw the SP push from $2.30 well into the $3's in just weeks.
If I was a board wanting a not entirely popular merger/demerger to go through, I would definitely be making sure the shareholders were fully across just what they are getting. That and MB would not be hanging around if there wasn't some serious upside there, Sirius is a relatively "young" company and whilst it was a thrilling ride I am sure now he has a taste of it he wants to do it again.
I just can't fathom how the current SP is not factoring in a price at all for S2.
All just my opinion, pure speculation, and probably why I am not a CEO of a billion dollar company.
