Inaki Berroeta is correct in saying it will cost a lot more than $2B to build a mobile network.
Especially given most of that has already been spent on a small amount of spectrum.
So his observation that it will be a 'niche' network is spot on... I read "Niche" as meaning a pile of rubbish.
They don't have access to the spectrum until April 2018..
Whatever they turn on in April 2018 is likely to be disappointing..
I am seeing TPG's mobile play as very high risk, with questionable economics... Does TPG even understand Bandwidth and Spectrum? I am beginning to wonder if TPG is being run by marketing and accountants.
