Yes, Nigel have experience in mining. You can find some infos on the AVZ homepage and check out his profile. It should be not a big issue to get someone with mining experience, because i expect all of the candidates want have written down in their papers that they are the one who's brought the world largest lithium deposit into mining and running. That should be a pleasure for the good guys! I only wonder why it tooks sooo long to get someone, to speak out whats the final decision, why the big companies make no final step into avz. Look around the market guys, there are so many "small" companies who go into mining without issues to collect money to bring the project to this stage. Manono is ready, so what is the issue..... RD alone with 400mt-600mt is ready, CDL in a short time.... I saw in the TV a report about the congo last week and the "normal" people drilling holes in the grount with poor equipment and bring tonnes of cobalt out of the ground and sell it to the Chinese which based in the congo at every corner. Tonnes of cobalt where shifted by trucks to the 300 to 500 miles far away harbor. (easily) And we speak about it is not possible.... Come on. Also manono was in production for tin and these guys were also able to ship tonnes away from manono. So the questions to Nigel would be: what is the reason to wait? What is the reason to have no OT on the cards? For a multi billion dollar project, there is nobody who is willing to pay 150m to build up a mine right now? Is it really the plan to go into mining, or epxplore more and more for a better TO price?
We are right now ready for a decision and that is not to fast because the possible JV partners could be confident that there is enough in the ground for 100 years.
Thats what i would ask the management if i could reach them by phone last days.
Just some words for the weekend.
AIMO
