Its very hard sometimes to fathom why a shareprice moves
on announcements. My favourite is the converse of exs's good announcement, when a bad news announcement is made, the share price increases.

But back to the dividend, the share registry for exs, has no place to take bank account details. So at this stage it looks like a cheque will be issued.

As others have noted, the share price will increase closer to the ex date.
