golden deeps (ged), could be a bit of a pure spec play. the company has a low market cap, with 26m shares on issue, has about $1m in the bank, and also holds 3m shares in lumacom, which are worth another $600,000. half of the market cap, is underlined by the holding in lumacom. lumacom itself is a pure spec play, which has the potential for more upside, if the newspaer reports of impending contracts are correct.
if gold keeps on going up, then this is the type of company which could have a project injected into it, and send the share price upwards. if this happens, and when everybody else is buying, i will be selling - well that is the strategy
