In Regards to PPT reducing their holding, they commenced this prior to the quarterly report, having sold 3.4m shares in August and then 2.7m in September. Since the quarterly they have sold a further 10.7m reducing their holding by just over 50% from 32.8m to 16.2m. With 8m traded on the 22nd, it seemed to confirm the co. buyback with price increasing then stabilising on the 23rd, again with only 127k shorts on the 22nd.
This seems to suggest there would be a significant reduction in selling pressure, particularly if PPT have completed their 50% selldown.
