Couldn't help but notice the increase in the sp in the lead up to the agm this friday and also post maclesse/archer offloading some stock( see recent announcements 20/10/10)
Perhaps someone is taking a position with the view to a T/O at some time?.
The general concensus is that the recent M & A activity is likely to continue and even though the aussie$ is gett'n a bit high,the sophisticated opinion is that in order to quickly gain market share its a bit cheaper in the long run to buy hard assets and businesses and put to work the excess cash,rather than to start up from scratch.
Anyone here thinking of going to the agm?
