I thought that it was number of trades not share volume.

One parcel of one share counted as a trade, as did a parcel of 10,000 shares.
Now you have made me unsure and will need to investigate.

I use Commsec and in the sell side you can elect to see price or volume of sells.
You can easily check by pressing volume and see the number of ones, twos and threes on offer.

Course of sales also lists volume of each trade.

Anyway at times during Monday (early between 10.15 and 10.40) there were plenty trying to short the price down and they did move it a few cents.

I do enjoy the play, especially when I make a few bucks.
