It does not matter how many years you serve in the profession. It does matter how a listed accounting firm disciplines itself. It is a public firm and it has obligations to follow. From the book, there seems no debt, so did Enron. With full respect to your professional knowledge, the key question you may need to address is the true situation of the firm. On such a key issue, the firm did not do well or seems to improve.
