With respect to YTC I don't believe Glencore is some sort of bogeyman. Surely they are in the mining business to make as much money as quickly as they legally can. But equally surely they are primarily pragmatists who will do a deal if a deal is worth doing regardless if they do or do not have control of the primary producer and they certainly do not have control of YTC.

Now, for years our fearless leader Rimas Kairaitis has said he believes the YTC mine(s) has all the attributes of a Cobar style mining opportunity. I am sure that he is well aware that in 2009, Glencore pulled out
400,000 ounces of silver which, (at) todays price of USD30.00/ounce would realise $12,000,000.
51,000 tonnes copper metal at todays price of USD7778/tonne = $560,016,000.

I do not believe even for a moment that under his unswerving guidance, YTC has been or will be outmanouvered by Glencore or anybody else.
