I think an inherent problem when using nuclear reactors analogies plays a big role in Yeo's decision making process. Japan suffered the Fukushima in 2011 just a year before she entered DAP and politics. Japan was so close to losing totally the reactor. It was feared even Tokyo would have to be evacuated because of a nuclear cloud.

I point out the Japanese did not seek US nuclear containment advise. The US already had its 3 Mile Island. Likewise Yeo is of the mine set, do not think you can come into Malaysia and tell us how to run our country.

    However
Direct death is perhaps something we can play upon. Don't quote to me zero. Just why does Japan even build cities and houses and power plants in a known earthquake zone? Doesn't the country and people of Japan know that magic can be black? What was the total lost in lives because of not heeding the wisdom of ages? Twenty plus thousand people would be a low guess as I understand the event. Build on the shorelines crazy thinking in my opinion given current global warming right and Tectonic plate movements as we should all invest in the future some 10,000 years from on.  So, now we fine ourselves dealing with a risk adverse Minister in Malaysia. Purely grandstanding as she ignores the Bauxite and Palm Oil crisis. Purely taking the path of least resistance.

Her argument boils down to: "it's okay to come to Malaysia and employ our hungry and jobless, it's okay to bring your wealth and technology here, it's okay for me to have gone to your universities for higher education. Just you not expect anything from me in return and that includes up-dating my understanding of science for like the cow use to be slaughtered for it beef and the corn and wheat pulled up from the earth I live now on the food in my refrigerator as it is a rights of all to enjoy these pleasures but just not yet as I still need to jet around the world on my silver broom.  The broom I've been riding since Bill Gates funded me for college with his grants and best wishes.
