this is an old "western mining" (ex wmc - taken over by bhp) target, and discovery.
one thing for certain, is that "western mining" were good - and at one stage or another, most of the gold fields would have been held under tenure by "western mining".
given that "western mining" had some good results , yet they dropped the ground - then that should say something ("western mining, had the money, to hold onto the best ground" ..
better exploration techniques (as compared to 30 or 40 years ago) might make a difference.
"western mining" were "hell bent" (30 or 40 years ago) on looking for a major copper deposit. in the end, "western mining" discovered roxby downs (Olympic dam), after 6 years of office work - but that is another story.
the best sxg results, are still around the original "western mining" discovery. just look at the sxg report from 29 august - and look at the "historical intersections"
anyway, there is a bit of gold in the intercepts, and that could be feed, for a mill, that sxg are hoping to build. maybe the mill could be tweaked a bit, to get zinc and copper concentrates
