Obviously Tz expect more gas to be found... hope we get seismic moving soon..
This is Kenyan Energy minister...
"...The Government has identified a site in Mombasa for development of a 300MW coal plant, to run on imported coal and we are discussing with the government of Tanzania and the World Bank, the possibility of setting up of a liquefied natural gas terminal in Mombasa. If found feasible, we shall use liquefied natural gas from Tanzania for electricity generation and private investors will be invited..."
My emphasis added.. I really can see how coal is a good investment for Kenya. Gas and geothermal romp it in. http://www.bdafrica.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=13968&Itemid=5821
