I suppose it doesn’t matter what any of us think now – there are no more decisions to be made.
I spoke to CRS on a few occasions – they feed me rubbish with respect to production rates and costs.
It would also appear they feed me more rubbish with respect to hedging. I was aware of the amount they had forward sold, I was aware of negative hedge position – but the 10000 oz a month commitment is news to me. You would think they would have been legally obliged to disclose that.
On 2 occasions a least they said to me that “Hedges are “Simple Vanilla” and can be rolled forward “ – I understood by this that they could be rolled out as far as the company chose – that is what they inferred to me.
Anyway, thanks again and post anything else you find.
