songo songo gas facility

I found an old Presentation dated 2005 detailing the plans for construction and expansion (in stages) of the Songo Songo Gas Facility. It includes a forward plan of the power use expectations for Tanzania and even included the expectation of supplying energy to Kenya.

I found it to be interesting and just thought I would share it with other Key followers.

The Key Joint Venture gas supplies will be a large part of this plan instead of some additional hydo energy proposed in some of the projections. Songo Songo recognised they would not be able to cover all the future supply requirements.

When looking at their exploration map (page 5) you get the impression they expected to win the West Songo Songo block that was awarded to Key/Aminex.
